View from Cheaha

View of a mountain ridge from a rocky mountain ridge
Along the Pinhoti Trail at Cheaha State Park

I can see Talladega from here!

The bluffs at Cheaha State Park in Alabama affords views unparalleled for the region. This state park is truly vertical, showing off a spur of rock rising well above the valleys below. Fortunately, roads and trails connect. You have your choice of a lodge, camping, or cabins – those of the lovely views – atop this promontory. Choose and enjoy.

Be sure to follow the trails along the bluffs, which connect to the Pinhoti Trail – a significant exploration of the Appalachians in Northern Alabama and Georgia.
